Saving DazStudio pose to a network drive. Bad idea.

I haven't really messed with Daz Studio 3 on my Mac Mini ever once I installed it and got all the libraries set up. I finally got time to play with it today, and it was fun. The speed is not that good but at least usable.
But when I tried to save the pose back to the network Z drive, I found that the speed was way too slow, and eventually crashed. New time I definitely need to save to a local drive first before move the content to the network drive.

No Microsoft SkyDrive on iPhone GoodReader yet ..

I tried setting up SkyDrive with GoodReader on iPhone, thinking that it should work since Microsoft SkyDrive is basically WebDev. Well, I tried and I got "OSStatus error -9800". Not exactly know what it means but surely a bummer.

Still some Illustrator CS5 blue ...

Unlike the Illustrator CS3 for Mac, Illustrator CS5 for Mac doesn't take forever to load up the font list in both the dropdown menu, which is a great. I haven't checked the other problems that I had with CS3 before, but at least look promising.

One problem, though, that I found out from opening some poster work on Windows Illustrator CS4 is that the fonts I picked on Windows side was not being honored EVEN THOUGH I have those same fonts installed on the Mac. That sure is irritating, and I am still looking around for solution, but I doubt that there is one. Guess I have to live with the fact that I need to render all fonts into outline before moving stuff form 1 platform to another platform.
