Almost got ultra angry at ArtStudio for iPad

I was trying to backup all my drawing on my iPad by exporting everything to psd, since this is the format that preserves all the layers.  I use 2 drawing application on iPad: SketchBook Pro and ArtStudio.  SketchBook has no problem exporting files into psd, and I can directly get the exported files through iTune.  The PSD export experience of ArtStudio was, on the other hand, pretty disappointed.  I have to export and send the PSD file to my email account.  But the worst part was that the email process kept crashing the application.  Eventually I had to reboot the iPad and from then on the export to email was pretty OK.  Still, I think I am much perfer the user interface of SketchBook Pro.

Zumocast is now at least usable

Before the Zumocast server 1.2 and Zumocast app 1.1.2 for iPhone/iPad, Zumocast was useless to me.  It kept crashing for no reason.  Now at least I can stream music to my iPad and iPod Touch 2G both at home throught Wifi and at work through 3G.  It's still not perfect, since it has problem ending some songs sooner than it should be (like the 808 & Heartbreak slbum I am listening now), but at least it's heading to the right direction.

Keyboard problem on Mac Mini

I got my MacMini back from repair, and then I experienced this problem: everytime I rebooted my machine,I got this "Keyboard Setup Assistant" popped up and asked me to reconfirm my keyboard.  Turns out it was because of a bluetooth detection.  Turning it off and that message goes away.

More detail in here.

Also it took longer to boot up the MacMini.  I guess it mostly because of the fact that now it has 8Gb of memory, and the bootup memory test sequence from the bios takes more time to check all the memories.

MonoDevelop expected MonoTouch to be in System disc

I was frustrated when I tried to use MonoTouch (even though it's just the evaluation edition).  I followed everything properly to install all the parts, yet I still got error saying "iPhone 4.0 SDK was not installed".  After reading this post, I suddenly started to wonder if MonoDevelop was expecting iPhone SDK and MonoTouch to be both installed on OS drive.  Sure enough, I found the MonoTouch folder inside the Develop folder on OS drive.  And after I removed that folder, MonoDevelop didn't recognize the existence of MonoTouch.  This is lame to me, since my Develop folder (with iPhone SDK) is actually on another drive, and I am NOT gonna move it just because of stupid MonoTouch.

3.3Gb

Only used 3.3Gb of 3G Access in the last 2 months.  Maybe the US$25 monthly 2Gb plan is not way too bad.  But then, I have a feeling that I will increase my 3G media consumption soon ....
