Still some Illustrator CS5 blue ...
Unlike the Illustrator CS3 for Mac, Illustrator CS5 for Mac doesn't take forever to load up the font list in both the dropdown menu, which is a great. I haven't checked the other problems that I had with CS3 before, but at least look promising.
One problem, though, that I found out from opening some poster work on Windows Illustrator CS4 is that the fonts I picked on Windows side was not being honored EVEN THOUGH I have those same fonts installed on the Mac. That sure is irritating, and I am still looking around for solution, but I doubt that there is one. Guess I have to live with the fact that I need to render all fonts into outline before moving stuff form 1 platform to another platform.
