Oh! Apple

My experience of using iPod Touch, iPod Classics, Mac OSX, Coding in XCode, or anything generally related to Apple

nope. still suck.

I said I thought clean reinstall of the iOS 7 beta 5 will solve the problem.  Well, it didn't.  Now I start to think it's the problem of my old Instacast app.  I said old because Instacast indeed has a newer version and I think it's called something like Instacast 2, but I am too cheap to buy a new one.  So now I am started to use the Apple Podcast app and see how goes.

Get iOS 7 Beta 5 to behave right on iPad 2

I usually install iOS 7 beta thru Restoring the image I downloaded from iPhone Dev site thru my iOS development account.  For beta 5 though, I tried to do it thru over-the-air update.  Big mistake, cause I realized that my iPad 2, with OTA iOS 7 Beta 5 update, kept crashing left and right.  And I thought it was beta 5 that has problem.

So I tried to roll back to beta 4 by Restore.  It DID NOT work.  Apple (thru iTunes and XCode) prevented me from going back to iOS 7 Beta 4.  They did, though, allow me to go back to iOS 6, but my backup will not work, which means I will lost all my Puzzle & Dragons game play.  Seriously not cool.

So I bited the bullet by restoring the iOS 7 Beta 5 image (1Gb), and see if it worked any better.  So far the Pad 2 seemed pretty stable.  So MAYBE the problem I had before was all because the OTA Update.
